About me

I am a storyteller who writes about the simple and intricate moments of life. My stories are about growth, about love and and adventure and about finding who you're meant to be.

As a child, I walked with my head and my eyes in the clouds, dreaming about how they would look from above, lifting off and travelling in imagination to faraway places and distant, peaceful skies.
I told myself stories, made up poems wandering in the veld on my horse's back.

I had notebooks, filled with scribbles, sketches, cover designs for untold stories. Then one came around that had to be told, from start to finish, and A Tale of Wild Geese made an author out of me. It took years from first draft, but it's here, launched in June 2023, after years of walking with Elle, Danny and Johnny in my head...

Now I love sharing my characters and their stories with the world. May you all love them as I do!

I've been infatuated with early aviation stories and World War II planes since forever. I am also an avid amateur photographer and aviation geek. When I'm not writing you'll find me at airshows, sketching or tending to my dairy goats and my husband's Appaloosa horses.

I have a background in Communication Studies as well as Creative Writing and previously published two bestselling short stories under my maiden name.
